Here are the chile peppers we grew in pots on the deck. In the 1st picture you can see, in a terra cotta pot, last year's habaneros we overwintered inside the house. Next, in a plastic pot, is a habanero plant we bought at a nursery. Finally, in another plastic pot, is a "thai hot" which we also bought at the nursery, and which produced fine looking bright orange peppers, but they had NO HEAT AT ALL!
We learned a lot about chile peppers and growing them from the book "The Pepper Garden" by Dave DeWitt and Paul W. Bosland.
